Smriti Anand is Associate Professor of Management at the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business, Chicago. Her research interests include leadership, diversity, and non-traditional work arrangements (i-deals) with particular focus on multi-level and cross-cultural frameworks. Smriti is a SIOP scholar whose research has been published in leading journals of management such as The Academy of Management Journal, The Journal of Applied Psychology, and Human Relations. Smriti holds a PhD in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ranchi University (India). She has over 10 years of high-tech industry experience in diverse areas such as electrical and software engineering, product development, and marketing at firms such as Information Resources, Inc. and Motorola, Inc.

Penny Dick is Professor of Organizational Psychology at Sheffield University Management School. Penny’s work can be broadly categorized as critical management and she is particularly interested in understanding the relationship between individuals and their social and institutional environments.
Much of her work takes its inspiration from Michel Foucault and is thus focused on the role of power, embedded in taken-for-granted ideas and practices, in maintaining or challenging a status quo that advantages some groups relative to others. She has published in such journals as Human Relations, Organization Studies and Journal of Organizational Behavior.

Rafael Alcadipani is a professor of Organization Studies at FGV-EAESP (Brazil) and a fellow of the Brazilian Scientific Council (CNPq). He was awarded his Ph.D. from the Manchester Business School. His research is inductive and problem-centered which has led him to analyze issues of power, resistance, and identity in and around organizations.
Rafael is specialized in extreme-context ethnography and has written pieces about research practice. He also researches management knowledge production in the global south. His work has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Management Studies, Organization, Organization Research Methods.

Jeremy Aroles is an Associate Professor in Organization Studies in the School for Business and Society at the University of York (UK). His current research interests include new work modalities (digital nomadism and hybrid work arrangements), the disruptive role of technologies (such as AI) on work practices, the role of memory on organizational practices and decisions and the management of cultural organizations.
His research has been published in leading journals such as Organization Science, Organization Studies, MISQ, Journal of Management Studies and the European Journal of Information Systems. He held academic positions at Durham University and at the University of Manchester where he obtained his PhD in 2016. Saša Batistič is an Associate Professor at the Department of Human Resource Studies, Tilburg University, the Netherlands. Adopting a relational perspective, he focuses on the interplay between organizational context and individual behavior.
Key research interests include relational human resource management, social networks, work relationships, organizational socialization, and knowledge hiding. He also specializes in advanced research methods, including social network analysis, multilevel analysis, and bibliometrics.

Mina Beigi is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the University of Southampton Business School. She has earned a PhD in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, USA (2015) and a PhD in Human Resource Management from Allameh Tababtabaei University, Iran (2008).
Mina’s research focuses on work-nonwork interface, understudied careers, and career success. Her work has been published in Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior, International Journal of Management Reviews, Applied Psychology: International Review, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management, among others. Mina has served as the Associate Editor of Human Resource Development Review (2017-2020) and has been elected as the Newsletter Editor for the Careers Division, Academy of Management (2018-2020).

Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu is an Associate Professor in Leadership and the Head of Management Discipline at the UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Australia. He received his PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, USA. His research focuses on how line managers—the critical bridge between organizational strategy and employees’ daily experiences—can become more productive and resilient. His research has been published in leading journals in management and organisational studies, including Human Relations, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Human Resource Management, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Guowei Jian is a professor of communication at Cleveland State University (USA). He received his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His current research examines the communicative processes in doing leadership, managing organizational and institutional change, and organizing risk. Juliette Koning is Professor of Business in Society at the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University (the Netherlands), where she is also Head of the Organisation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department.
Juliette has a background in social anthropology (University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands) from which she investigates the role and meaning of religion, ethnicity, kinship, identity, ethics, relationality, gender, and generations for organizational leadership, business conduct, small business development and entrepreneurship. Recent research focuses on the privatization and organization of security. Some of her research is conducted in Indonesia and South Africa. Her research has been published in Organization Studies, Entrepreneurship, Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Ethics, Management Learning, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development and various other outlets.

Dejun “Tony” Kong (Ph.D. in Business Administration, Washington University in St. Louis) is Full Professor and Ph.D. Director of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. His research has focused on: (a) fostering individuals’ positive experiences, (b) fostering an exceptional organizational system (e.g., leadership, HR practices), and (c) fostering a high-trust society. Additionally, Tony is Chair of the Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business and has been serving as an associate editor of the Journal of Management and Journal of Organizational Behavior. In 2024, he was elected as a leader (on a five-year leadership track) of the Academy of Management’s Conflict Management Division (currently, Program Chair).

Elina Meliou is Professor of Leadership at University of Southampton. Her work explores how individuals experience and negotiate social structures, particularly in contexts marked by uncertainty and precarity, and the implications for inclusive organizations. Elina’s research has been published in Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies Organization Studies, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Gender, Work and Organization and Work, Employment and Society, among others. She is one of the editors of “Diversity and Precarious Work during Socioeconomic Upheaval”, published by Cambridge University Press (2024). Ajnesh Prasad is Professor and holds the Canada Research Chair in Critical Management Studies. His research interests broadly focus on gender and diversity issues in organizations, interpretive methods, and social inequality. He has held tenured academic appointments at universities in Australia, Canada, and Mexico. His past and ongoing research has been funded, as principal or sole investigator, by grants from the British Academy, CONACYT (Mexico), and SSHRC (Canada).

Ruodan Shao is a Professor of Organization Studies at the Schulich School of Business, York University. Ruodan’s research focuses on corporate social responsibility, cross-cultural management, business ethics and ethical decision-making, organizational justice, and customer mistreatment.
She received her PhD in Organizational Behavior from the University of British Columbia. Before joining York, she held academic appointments in the Department of Management at the College of Business, City University of Hong Kong, and the Department of Business Administration at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba.
Her work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Management. She served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Vocational Behavior from 2022 to 2025.
Her teaching interests include organizational behavior and human resource management. She received the University of British Columbia Graduate Student Teaching Award and was nominated for the UBC Commerce Undergraduate Society Teaching Excellence Award in 2010.

Her focus is on the global political economy of labor and class, financialization, and transnational advocacy networks. Before joining academia, Ghazal worked in global project finance at Citigroup London and then as a rural organizer in Arkansas, USA.
